Callahan loves the camera..He just can't take his eyes off it..no matter what your doing..you put the camera in front of him and he just can't help himself..cute!

He's growing up!

Callahan is getting so big! He is now eating cereal and very well I must say. He has no problem what so ever! :) He is a porka! He scoots himself across the bed..which is pretty crazy cause he is only 3 months. I can't believe how quick he is growing up..It's sad..yet I can't wait until he is really playing and talking and showing more personality. Everyday he does something new and he's so amazing to watch..Here are some pictures of him..

Callahan's first infusion..:(

So it happened! I was hoping I wouldn't have to go through this for a long time but..friday I was cliping Callahan's nails and he moved and I cut a tiny peice of skin..he didn't even cry! But unfourtnetly that one little peice of skin was all it took and he bled and bled..for about 7 hours total. Thats from the time it happened till he got his factor (medicine that clots his blood) After 2 hours of non stop bleeding I called the Hemotoligist and he told me to wait another hour or so to see it it would stop..it didn't. So we took him to the hospital. They did good but..the way to give factor is through an IV and im sure everyone knows how hard that is on an infant. SO it took 4 of us to hold him down while they did the IV and they had to do it 4 times! :( Finally he had his infusion and after 35 mins his cut cloted. It was no fun! I now got a glimpse of what childhood is going to be like for him and it makes me sad. But I know he is a strong little man and he will do just fine! On a good note we all went to Canobie Lake and Boston this weekend we had a lot of fun..Callahan slept through the night for the first time on Saturday! He is getting so big..I will post some pictures for you all to see.

He is finally here!

So I was up all night Monday because shortly after I wrote my last blog I went into labor with my wonderful baby boy Callahan! IT'S ABOUT TIME! He was born on July 1, 2008 at 11:28 pm. He weighed 7lbs 4 ounces..and is 20 1/2 inches long. It was amazing and I love him so much! Dan was great he helped me a lot..Callahan is such a good baby..Looks like he does have Hemophilia like my dad which was not the news we all wanted to hear..:( but I am prepared for whats to come..and we will just have to take it day by day..At least I got to take this wonderful, cute, fun baby boy home with me today and he is otherwise healthy and happy! I will put more pictures on here soon!

Can't Sleep..

It is 12:30 in the morning..I can't sleep! I have been having contractions and just very uncomfortable..I really hope Callahan will come soon!! I have an ultrasound tomorrow morning bright and early and they will check to see if I have made any progress on the dilation part..*Fingers Crossed* I just don't want to wait anymore..but I guess I have no choice in the matter..So the latest will be Monday the 7th, thats when they will induce if I haven't made any progress!! So..meanwhile I have been trying to keep busy..We went to the mall all day Sunday..my mom and I went and visited my grandmother in the Nursing Home today and then I got a Pedicure which was much needed and felt great! But honestly i'm running out of steam..I can't keep busy anymore I am exausted! Yet here I am typing away at 12:30am..Ugh!

Getting Ready..

My mom and set up some of callahan's things since our house isn't ready to be moved into yet. Here are some pictures of his changing table and some of his clothes..we also have his craddle out..My mom bought it and painted it over..It's cute! I love it! I just can't wait until I can set up his very own room!!
