Callahan in the "Big Boy Tub"

Callahan would never keep his bottom in his infant tub! :) So I decided it was time to try one of those tub seats so that he could sit up and enjoy the water. I went on ebay but all they seemed to have were the seats that stuck onto the bottom of the tub. All the reviews on those styles were bad. Too many babies were drowning because the suction would let go. So just when I was about to give up hope I found this seat and I LOVE it! It hooks on the side of the tub to keep it from tipping and it can slide from the front of the tub to the back. The seat moves all around it is so awesome! the best part of all is brand new they are about $60, I paid only $16.50! Callahan likes it a lot too..he has had two baths a day the past two days..haha

Callahan..Late Post!

So with all the election excitment I forgot to say how callahan has turned 4 months old recently..and I have some pics to share with you all. He is getting so big and is talking so much more..he likes to grab everything! Which doesnt make it easy to change his diaper! lol He is some funny lil man..but growing up way too fast!

He's growing up!

Callahan is getting so big! He is now eating cereal and very well I must say. He has no problem what so ever! :) He is a porka! He scoots himself across the bed..which is pretty crazy cause he is only 3 months. I can't believe how quick he is growing up..It's sad..yet I can't wait until he is really playing and talking and showing more personality. Everyday he does something new and he's so amazing to watch..Here are some pictures of him..

Callahan's first infusion..:(

So it happened! I was hoping I wouldn't have to go through this for a long time but..friday I was cliping Callahan's nails and he moved and I cut a tiny peice of skin..he didn't even cry! But unfourtnetly that one little peice of skin was all it took and he bled and bled..for about 7 hours total. Thats from the time it happened till he got his factor (medicine that clots his blood) After 2 hours of non stop bleeding I called the Hemotoligist and he told me to wait another hour or so to see it it would stop..it didn't. So we took him to the hospital. They did good but..the way to give factor is through an IV and im sure everyone knows how hard that is on an infant. SO it took 4 of us to hold him down while they did the IV and they had to do it 4 times! :( Finally he had his infusion and after 35 mins his cut cloted. It was no fun! I now got a glimpse of what childhood is going to be like for him and it makes me sad. But I know he is a strong little man and he will do just fine! On a good note we all went to Canobie Lake and Boston this weekend we had a lot of fun..Callahan slept through the night for the first time on Saturday! He is getting so big..I will post some pictures for you all to see.
